Antique map of St.Tosia

For those who are not convinced that 'St.Tosia, the island Columbus forgot' exists, here is some valuable evidence. It is a rare map of St. Tosia dated 1575 made by the well-known Flemish cartographer, philosopher and mathematician Adriaan Mercator. As can be seen at the bottom left of the map:
Insula
Sancta Tosia
de Adriani Mercatoris factum
Anno Domini 1575

It was recently auctioned at Hoxtheby's Auction House in London and now hangs in the Lounge of the St. Tosia Imperial Yacht Club in Puerto Olvidar. One can recognize the settlement Portus Olvidar and its bay on the southern part of the island. The Monesterium Catharsia on the Kalinago Hill is located on the Northern part. As you can see there was apparently not much settlement yet in 1575.

Numbered original copies of the map are nowadays sold at the 'Palms and Pirates Souvenir Shop' in the Kaya Rico Grande in Puerto Olvidar, but also in the gift shops on the various cruise ships in the Caribbean. They're sold like hot cakes.
